چکیده
Manganese nanoparticles are promising material for various applications such as water remediation, catalytic oxidation reactions, bio sensors, etc their superior adsorbing, electrochemical, catalytic, magnetic, supercapactive like properties additionally, MnNPs possess significant medicinal values, hence, this research aims at synthesizing biogenically, characterize them to explore antibacterial activity. Aqueous cabbage extract was allowed react with precursor KMnO4 solution synthesize the MnNPs. Then, were characterized by: visual observation, UV-visible spectroscopy (UV-vis), X-ray diffraction (XRD), fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy dispersive (EDX). Finally, agarwell diffusion employed study activity against human pathogenic bacteria: staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, escherichia coli 25922 salmonella typhi. Turning of purple color reddish brown after stirring indication formation nanoparticles. The confirmed by appearance sharp peak 420 nm, assigned band absorption 6 keV in EDX spectrum. Diffraction pattern revealed polycrystalline type crystallite size 10.70 nm. FT-IR result showed chief biomolecules: flavoniods, alkaloids, proteins present which acts reducing agent. FE-SEM spherical ellipsoidal shaped agglomerated Agarwell method zone inhibition (ZOI) range 10-13 mm (gram + ve gram –ve) bacteria. Cabbage mediated biosynthesis is found simple, ecofriendly. This work from uv-vis spectra FE-SEM. Chief biomolecules act agent stabilizing Results depicted its properties.
